I needed boots as a costume piece for a play; they needed to be gold with a chunky heel. The character I play is called "Startopper" so the stars were an added bonus. These were better than expected: well-made, very high (so it took some getting used to), and pretty durable so far. I've been wearing them at work to get used to them and they have generated a lot of interest in the play. Anyway, one reviewer said to go one size larger so I did (US-15). It's a perfect fit around the ankles but a little more room in the toes. I fix this with an extra pair of socks. I think I could have gotten away with US-14 (my actual size is a US mens 10.5 wide, or EU 45). I actually ordered a second pair because I like them so much!

The heel was higher than expected, so if you can’t walk in a heel, these are definitely not a place to start at.
The boots look incredible, I got compliments all night! I would probably get one size up next time.
